Santa Claus Visits New Development in Malling: Kirsebærhøjen Invites You to a Cozy Afternoon of Mulled Wine and Guided Tours

On 12 December, Kirsebærhøjen will host a Christmas market with Santa Claus, mulled wine, and
and guided tours of Malling’s upcoming residential neighbourhood.

Christmas is in the air in Malling – and next month there will be even more to look forward to when home
Malling hosts a Christmas event at the Kirsebærhøjen development on 12 December.

Santa Claus will stop by, and the first 50 children will receive a free bag of sweets. For the adults, cherry wine will be served to the first 15 guests, while everyone can look forward to mulled wine, warm Danish pancakes (æbleskiver), and Christmas music provided by a DJ.

The event will take place in the heart of the new residential area, where the architect-designed townhouses of 95–122 m² are beginning to take shape. Under a large heated marquee, visitors can experience the project up close – while also enjoying a Christmas event for the whole family.

“Malling is a town where community means a great deal, and therefore we would like to give something back. We hope that both current and future residents of Malling will stop by and help create a pleasant and festive day,” says Torben Skov Lauridsen, owner and estate agent (MDE) at home Sydbyen, which, in addition to Malling, also covers Viby, Højbjerg, and Tranbjerg.

Many of the homes have already been sold
Malling nine of the homes have already been sold, even though the first phase of the development is not due for completion and move-in until February 2026. The third and final phase is ready for occupancy in July.
Malling har man allerede nu solgt ni af boligerne, selvom første etape af byggeriet først står
klar til indflytning i februar 2026. Tredje – og sidste etape – er klar til indflytning i juli.

“We look forward to opening the doors – and the marquee doors – to both residents of Malling and people from Aarhus,
who are curious about the project. Many have been following the construction from the road, and now they will have the opportunity to see it.
get an up-close look,” says Torben Skov Lauridsen.

The Christmas event is a great opportunity to take a closer look at Kirsebærhøjen. Guided tours of the upcoming show home will be offered, and visitors can learn more about the future single-storey homes, which—with their modern architecture, green surroundings, and attractive location close to both the light rail and the E45 motorway—are aimed at both seniors and families with children.
